rebranding & ux|ui: MARTIN mechanical engineering brand relaunch

the relaunch of the martin brand was not only about communicating the 100-year anniversary but also about the technical innovations and a completely new machine series. a unique feature is the control via an ipad. this means that the machine or the workshop can be accessed from anywhere. this is also reflected in the new image world, where the machines are located in real workshops of martin customers. the basic design elements of the branding were largely retained and only marginally optimized or supplemented.

the project was developed in close cooperation with the agency owner. my tasks in this project included the further development of the brand, especially the conception of the new imagery, copy, and claims. i also photographed the workshops and took over the art direction for the 3d renderings of the machines. i was also significantly involved in the ui and ux of the new martin website, as well as in the communication with the web development team.
